ART
When it comes to art, everyone has their own prespective. What's beautiful in my eyes may not be so to someone else.Despite our differences the fact remains that art is just amazing.Humans have evolved and so has the way they express themselves, through paintings, music, architecture and many other ways. Art has been an important part of human civilization.
From cave paintings and sculptures to modern digital installations, art has evolved and transformed societies, leaving an indelible mark on culture, politics, and social dynamics.
Through every time period, marked various shifts in the world of art steered by human experience, social provocations ,religious and cultural beliefs. Human experience was often depicted in the way artists presented their art.Artists often express their personal experiences, emotions, and perspectives through their artwork. Most achieved this through their choice in color, brushstrokes and compositions allowing them to interact with their audience on an emotional level fostering understanding.
Social and community practices and events that bring communities and people together often serve as a source of inspiration to many artists.Art has the power to provoke thought, challenge societal norms, and incite dialogue therefore artists frequently address social issues, such as inequality, discrimination, politics, or environmental concerns.Political systems and leaders are often depicted in various art pieces.
Ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians used to equate their leaders to gods and tend to build monuments for their leaders. Hieroglyphics were typically used on ancient Egyptian monuments as a way to describe what the artwork meant and often told stories of their leaders and gods. Some examples of leader with remarkable monuments include the likes of Nefertiti,PHaraoh Ramses and his wife Nefertari and other iconic Egyptian figures. The same is seen across many civilizations across the world spanning from from the Rome to African civilizations.
Artists use their work to raise awareness and spark conversations. By addressing social provocations, art can act as a catalyst for change and inspire viewers to question the status quo.
Religious beliefs play a key role in the kind of compositions made by artists.Art forms like Baroque and Medieval art are greatly emphasized on the early church while many Asian sculptures and monuments depict the forms of the god they worshiped. Shifts in religious beliefs and ideologies also influenced changes as artists became aware of their freedom and hence became more liberal in the way they portrayed their art pieces.
Culture also influenced art as different cultures had different ways and ideas in the way they chose to paint, make sculptures and even in their form of architecture.Asian cultures had totally different styles compared to European and African cultures.
